It is with great sadness that the family of the late VICTORIA M. PITTMAN of Marystown announces her passing at her home in Burin on Sunday, December 30th, 2018, at the age of 76.  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons, Theo (Rita) Pittman of Marystown, and Charles Pittman of Halifax, NS; 2 grandchildren, Jason (Paula) Pittman and Margaret (Gerard) Whittle; 3 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Lucas, and Dylan; brothers, George (Shirley) Pittman of Marystown, Thomas Pittman of Burin, and Junior Pittman of Marystown; sisters, Emma (Eli) Green of Marystown, Ita (Corwin) Cornish of Marystown, Marie Walsh of Ontario, and Gladys Maidment of Ontario; plus a large circle of relatives and friends.  She was predeceased by her spouse Jim Day, parents, William & Theresa Pittman; spouse, Joe Toscano; and sister Marion.

The Pittman Family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South on Friday, January 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m with a prayer vigil being held at 8:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown on Saturday, January 5th at 10:00 a.m.

Inurnment will follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Marystown.

In Victoria’s memory, donations may be made to the Cancer Society, or flowers gratefully accepted.
