Passed peacefully away, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, January 08th, 2019, at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, NL, GORDON MURRAY, of Marystown, NL, at the age of 72. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Marjorie, daughter Kim Murray (Philippe Pronovost), Paradise; his pride and joy, special grandson, Luc Perrot, brothers Joe (Priscilla), Ontario, Tim (Gladys), Marystown, Mike (Norma), Marystown, Jim (Cathy), Marystown, Larry (Gladys), Marystown, Gerard, Fort Saskatchewan, AB, sisters Essie Kean, Corner Brook, Mary Ledwith, Marystown, Marg Isaacs (Reg), Grand Cache, AB, Helen Fitzpatrick (Art), Marystown, Vera Miles (Rick), AB, brothers in law Max Taylor (Annette), Boxey, Rev. David Taylor (Elaine), Corner Brook, Merrill Taylor (Susan), St. John’s, sisters in law Eva Walsh (Jack), Creston South, Gloria Kirby (Barry), Burin; and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Gordon is predeceased by his parents Michael and Loretta Murray, brothers John, Frank, Ray, and Tom, sisters Regina Brake and Bride Hennebury, and parents in law Max and Doris Taylor.

Resting and visitation will take place from Wisemans Funeral Home in Marystown on Thursday, January 10th, 2019, from 10 am – 9 pm. A prayer vigil will take place at 8 pm, January 10, 2019.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown Friday, January 11th, 2019 at 10:30 am.
